You’re holding a lot. I’ve been there.
Why I Started This Work
I created The Elix Collective to be the kind of support system I once needed: clear, calm, strategic, and deeply attuned to the complexity of nonprofit life.
For years, I led from inside, as an Executive Director navigating big visions and small budgets, as a fundraiser building trust from the ground up, as a policy strategist pushing for equity in spaces not built for it. I’ve sat at the intersection of urgency and exhaustion, where decisions feel high-stakes, time is short, and clarity is buried under the weight of doing too much with too little.
I help nonprofit leaders move forward with clarity, integrity, and enough space to breathe. The Elix Collective is a container for transformation built for people who lead with purpose, who hold their communities close, and who need a thought partner who can hold complexity without losing direction. My role is to help you distill what matters most, so you can lead with confidence and build with intention.
My Professional Journey
Before launching The Elix Collective, I spent more than a decade leading initiatives at the intersection of community, policy, and social impact across both the nonprofit and tech sectors. I most recently served as the Executive Director of Dasvandh Network, a national crowdfunding platform supporting over 90 Sikh-led nonprofits. In that role, I led organizational strategy, board development, grantmaking, and fundraising, growing our impact while navigating the complexity of building a community-led movement with limited resources.
Prior to that, I served as US Public Policy Manager at Meta, where I oversaw engagement with progressive advocacy groups. My work focused on advancing equity and building meaningful channels for community input on national tech policy. Earlier in my career, I held leadership roles at the Center for Policing Equity, Everytown for Gun Safety, and SALDEF, shaping national engagement strategies focused on racial justice, community safety, and civic power.
Across every role, I’ve worked to build trust, move strategy into action, and center the voices of those most impacted. From grassroots organizing to board strategy, from state-level campaigns to federal policy design, I’ve seen firsthand what it takes to lead in complexity and how powerful the right support system can be.
